PSESSA supports the outstanding efforts of English Springer Spaniel Rescue of America, ESRA, to foster, evaluate and rehome springers of all ages when they are in need. Please click on the link above to find their website and available springers. Below is a bonded pair of springer’s that are waiting for their forever home. We would like to thank Julie Clegg of Bailey & Banjo Photography, Issaquah, WA, for generously donating the photos of Lady and Britches displayed here.
Six year old Lady is a black-and-white girl and five year old Britches is a liver-and-white guy. They are a bonded pair of Springers that are ready to face their next adventure together. When unexpected changes in a family situation found these two in need of a new home, the family turned to ESRA for help.
These two Springers are sweet as can be. Both are typical happy, snuggly, wiggly Springers. Lady and Britches have always been together and they are very dependent upon each other. For that reason, ESRA feels they should be adopted together.
Lady is an alpha female. She gets along well with most other dogs, but will sometimes be dominant with submissive dogs. No small dogs or cats for Lady, as she has a very strong prey drive.
Britches is a sweet gentleman. He needs a securely fenced yard, as he has a tendency to explore beyond his boundaries in an unfenced area. Britches also has a strong prey drive, so no cats for this guy.
Lady and Britches get along with all adults and children. They have most recently lived as outdoor dogs but prior to that were house trained. Lady is spayed and Britches is neutered. Both are microchipped and up to date on all preventative vaccinations.
If you would like to meet Lady and Britches and be the Forever Family that welcomes these two great dogs into your hearts and home, please fill out an adoption application today.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Lady.
